It's Saturday, August 27th and we made the decision this morning to go ahead and head down to Damariscotta, Maine which is about 90 miles down the coast. Everything we found said the weather in Bar Harbor and here were going to be almost identical.
We are staying at Lake Pemaquid campground for the next week. It's a nice place and it is full of other "crazies." We dont have wifi or cable but the iPhone seems to have a good signal.
We appreciate everyone's help keeping us updated so far. Tomorrow will be nasty but they are saying Monday will be sunny...go figure!!
We will update everyone when the worst is over.
